Frequency of Positive <i>Aspergillus</i> Tests in COVID-19 Patients in Comparison to Other Patients with Pulmonary Infections Admitted to the Intensive Care Unit

The aim of this study was to describe the frequency positive Aspergillus tests in COVID-19 patients and investigate association between a test result. We compared proportion admitted intensive care unit (ICU) for >24 h with two control groups: community-acquired pneumonia (i) PCR-confirmed influenza infection (considered since link invasive aspergillosis has been established) (ii) Streptococcus pneumoniae (in whom are mostly considered indicate colonization).
